Operating Room Nurse – Round Rock, TX
Position Overview
Join the operating room team at the facility in Round Rock, Texas. You'll work in a multispecialty surgical environment supporting a range of operative procedures in a high-acuity setting.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 5:30 AM – 5:00 PM
- Schedule: 4 days per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday preferred)
- No weekends, no holidays, no on-call required
- Block scheduling: Yes
- No floating to other units
Unit Details
The operating room provides comprehensive surgical services. You'll work alongside a charge nurse, surgical technologists, anesthesia technicians, and support staff during day shifts. Scrubs are provided.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' acute care experience with multispecialty surgical exposure
- Current RN license (verification required)
- ACLS/EPLS certification
- Standard vaccinations and health screening (MMR, Tdap, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB screening)
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 40 per week
- Start Date: November 15, 2026
