Night Shift Charge Nurse – Med/Surg
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Charge Nurse for its Med/Surg unit on the night shift. You will provide clinical leadership, preceptoring, and direct patient care in a fast-paced environment.
Shift & Schedule
- 3 × 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- 36 hours per week
- Flexible start dates available every Monday
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate patient care and clinical oversight
- Function as Charge Nurse and preceptor as assigned
- Lead the nursing team during night hours
- Maintain professional standards and unit operations
Requirements
- Current RN license: Georgia or Compact state license required
- 18 months of specialty experience within the past 3 years
- Prior travel nursing experience required
- Willingness to work within a 50-mile radius; local travelers not considered
