RN – Outpatient Oncology Clinic
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced RN for its outpatient oncology clinic. This role offers a stable, predictable schedule ideal for nurses seeking consistent hours and a structured work environment.
Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- 5 shifts per week, 40 hours
- Monday–Friday (no weekends)
- 13-week contract
Key Responsibilities
- Access subcutaneous ports and central lines
- Room patients and obtain vital signs
- Perform phlebotomy and IV insertion
- Provide direct patient care in an outpatient setting
- Support oncology treatment protocols and patient flow
Required Qualifications
- Current RN license (state specific)
- Proficiency in port and central line access
- Strong phlebotomy and IV insertion skills
- Experience in an outpatient or infusion setting preferred
What to Expect
You'll work alongside a collaborative team in a busy outpatient clinic focused on cancer care. Patients range from newly diagnosed to ongoing treatment; the environment is fast-paced but organized. Your clinical skills in vascular access and patient assessment will be essential.
