Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Cardiac Catheterization Lab Technologist for a 13-week temporary assignment. You'll work in a high-volume interventional cardiology environment performing cardiac diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Schedule & Details
- Shift: 3 × 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM
- Hours: 40 per week
- On-Call: Yes, rotated week nights and weekends
- Start Date: As soon as possible
Clinical Scope
You'll support 15–20 cases per day, including:
- Diagnostic and therapeutic cardiac catheterizations
- Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR)
- Mitral clip procedures
- Chronic total occlusion (CTO) interventions
Equipment & Procedures
You'll work with intra-aortic balloon pumps, Impella support systems, intravascular ultrasound (IVUS), angiojet thrombectomy systems, intracardiac echocardiography (ICE), and laser-assisted angioplasty.
Requirements
- Current ARRT certification (or equivalent)
- Demonstrated expertise in cardiac catheterization techniques
- Competency with interventional cardiology equipment
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity setting
