Cath Lab Radiologic Technologist/RCIS
Position Overview
The facility operates a comprehensive Cath Lab providing cardiac and peripheral interventional services. You'll work alongside Cardiologists, Interventional Radiologists, and surgeons in a fast-paced procedural environment.
Clinical Scope
Procedures include left and right heart catheterization, PTCA, stenting, thrombectomy, atherectomy, carotid diagnostics and intervention, pacemaker insertion, tilt table testing, kyphoplasty, and AV graft work. The facility is expanding TAVR services; experience in this area is valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor patients during procedures using advanced imaging and diagnostic equipment
- Assist with pre- and post-procedure care
- Transport patients as needed
- Support additional duties as assigned
Shift & Schedule
- 0700–1730, 4 days per week (10-hour shifts)
- Rotating call: 7 days per month, with one weekend per month included
- Call duties split evenly among 6 technologists
- On-call covers evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Requirements
- Current RCIS certification or eligibility
- Proficiency with interventional equipment and monitoring devices
- Ability to rotate on-call and weekend coverage
