Radiologic Technologist – General Radiology | Greensburg, PA

Contract: 13 weeks | Shift: Days, 4x10-hour shifts (10:00 AM – 8:30 PM) | Start: December 21, 2026

This position supports a hospital radiology department serving a broad patient population spanning neonates through geriatrics. The role involves high-volume general radiography with exposure to portable/bedside procedures, OR/C-arm support, and fluoroscopy studies.

Clinical Scope

• General radiography: chest, abdomen, spine, extremities, skull, and facial studies
• Bedside and portable procedures (chest, abdomen) across ICU, NICU, and ED settings
• C-arm procedures and OR support
• Fluoroscopy: upper GI series, barium swallow, barium enema, contrast enema, ERCP
• Preparation and administration of contrast media
• Radiation safety and infection control/PPE protocols

Schedule & Coverage

• Four 10-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Every other holiday required
• Float to sister facilities within a 10-mile radius may be required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience as a registered radiologic technologist in a hospital setting
• OR experience required
• Active ARRT (R) certification
• BLS (AHA only)
• Active Pennsylvania or Compact state license
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility

Preferred

• Charting system experience in a comparable platform

Additional Requirements

• Two supervisor references preferred
• Fingerprinting, drug screen, and labs within 24–48 hours of signing
• All compliance cleared by the Wednesday before start
• Pre-start modules must be completed prior to entering the facility
