Interventional Radiology Technologist

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist for a 13-week contract. You'll work day shifts (5×8 hours) in a fast-paced IR suite, with rotating weekend call coverage. This role requires flexibility to float between two facilities.

Schedule & Staffing

• Day shifts: 07:00–15:30 or 08:00–16:30, Monday–Friday
• Weekend call on a rotating basis (post-Friday shift through Monday morning)

• Scrubs provided
• Willing to float to sister facilities as needed

Clinical Scope

You'll support a high volume of nephrology cases and perform a broad range of interventional procedures, including:

• Central venous access and port placement
• Angiography (renal, adrenal, pelvic, extremity)
• Embolization and thrombolysis/thrombectomy
• Stent placement and angioplasty
• Dialysis graft creation/revision
• TIPS, nephrostomy, and biliary drainage
• Vertebroplasty and kyphoplasty
• Chest tube and catheter/drain placement

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year IR tech experience
• Active PA or Compact license
• Current ACLS, ARRT R, and BLS certifications
• Proficiency in sterile technique, fluoroscopy, and 3D imaging

Additional Information

• Available to work every other holiday
• Must reside over 50 miles from the facility
• Two supervisor references preferred
