Registered Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist for night shift coverage. This is a 12-week contract position working 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM).
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
- Active Ohio RRT license (must be in hand at time of application)
- NBRC Certification (active, in hand)
- BLS Certification (active, in hand)
- Two professional references from a manager, supervisor, or director in respiratory therapy from assignments within the past 12 months
Schedule & Flexibility
- Night shift: 3 days per week, 12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Weekend coverage as needed
- Float capability to multiple facility locations
- All scheduling requests and time-off preferences must be communicated at time of submission and discussed during your interview
Compliance Requirements
- Nicotine-free facility (no exceptions)
- Negative 10-panel + nicotine drug screen required within 12 months of start; updated annually
- BCI/FBI background check must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing
- COVID-19 and flu vaccines required (medical/religious exemptions available)
Contract Details
- Duration: 12 weeks
- Extensions available up to 18 months; 6-month break required thereafter
- Candidates with prior facility assignments cannot return for 1 year from their previous end date
