Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: 3 x 12-hour rotating (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM / 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)

About the Role
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN to join a dynamic nursing team. You'll provide direct patient care on a med/surg telemetry unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patients with varied diagnoses. You may float to other units to care for similar patient populations based on operational needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, evidence-based care to med/surg and telemetry patients
- Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Work every other holiday
- Flexibility with shift assignments to meet unit needs; the facility will work to honor preferred shifts when possible
Requirements
- 12 months of permanent, full-time experience in med/surg or telemetry nursing
- Current Ohio RN license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of submission)
- Active BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
- Ability to pass ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments during orientation (maximum 2 attempts)
- Clean background check; no open cases or license hits
- Willingness to undergo background screening within 48 hours of contract signing
What to Expect
During orientation, you'll complete competency assessments and facility-specific modules. Annual hands-on competency requirements apply for nurses on continuous or returning contracts.
