Operating Room (OR) – RN – Seasonal Travel Position
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced OR RN for a 13-week seasonal travel assignment. You'll work day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) in a busy surgical environment supporting a wide range of elective procedures.
Unit Details
The OR manages elective cases across multiple specialties including orthopedic/spine, general surgery, cardiovascular, plastics, gynecology, robotics, and urology. The unit operates with a collaborative day shift team and maintains a professional, team-oriented culture.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of current hospital acute care OR RN experience
- BLS and ACLS certification
- Flexible, adaptable approach to a dynamic surgical environment
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Level 4 Trauma experience
- Orthopedic/spine surgical experience
Schedule & Call
- Guaranteed 36 hours per week
- Standard day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- On-call responsibilities: 1–2 weekends of second call and/or 1–2 12-hour shifts of first call during your contract
- Second call weekends: Friday 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Saturday and Sunday 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

You'll work alongside experienced surgical staff in a high-volume elective OR. This is an excellent opportunity to build OR skills in a structured, supportive environment with clear scheduling and defined call expectations.
