CT Technologist – Night Shift
The Role
The facility's Radiology Department is seeking a CT Technologist for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM). You'll work as the sole tech on your shift in a small, focused department performing CT and X-ray imaging.
Clinical Scope
You'll perform CT scans including abdomen/pelvis, head, and chest (PE protocol; no cardiac). Patient volume is low, consisting primarily of emergency department and inpatient referrals. This is an ideal assignment for someone who values a manageable workload and consistent schedule.
Requirements
- Current CT certification with demonstrated experience in both adult and pediatric imaging
- Ability to start IVs
- Must work independently and maintain excellent attendance (single-tech coverage)
- Basic X-ray skills preferred to support imaging needs as volume warrants
Assignment Details
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Shift: Friday–Sunday, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Dress Code: Black pants with professional tops (clean scrubs acceptable; blue scrubs not permitted)
- Location: Houston, TX
