Perioperative Nurse — OR

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Perioperative Nurse to deliver safe, effective, and quality patient-family centered care during the perioperative period. You will work across multiple roles—scrubbing, circulating, and recovery room support—collaborating closely with the perioperative team to maintain clinical excellence and confidentiality.

Schedule & Contract

• Days, Monday–Thursday, 10-hour shifts
• 40 guaranteed hours per week
• 13-week contract
• Start: November 9, 2026

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct perioperative patient care across the OR, scrub, and recovery areas
• Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia, and nursing colleagues
• Maintain strict patient confidentiality
• Support the facility's mission and clinical standards

Required Qualifications

• Current RN licensure in Maine
• Graduation from an accredited nursing school
• BLS Certification
• ACLS Certification (may be obtained within 6 months of hire)
• Minimum 1 year medical/surgical or perioperative experience
• Basic computer skills
• CNOR certification preferred
