Geriatric Psychiatric Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its geriatric psychiatric unit. You'll provide direct patient care to older adults experiencing mental health challenges in a structured inpatient setting.
Schedule
- Night shift: 6:45 PM – 7:00 AM
- Three 12-hour shifts per week
- Alternating weekly hours: 36 hours one week, 48 hours the next
- Every other weekend required
- Holiday commitments: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year psychiatric nursing experience (geriatric psychiatry preferred)
- 2 years psychiatric experience is a plus
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- SECURE or CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification
- Valid RN license
