About the Role
You'll join the psychiatric care team at the facility, providing direct patient care in a fast-paced clinical environment. This position offers the opportunity to work alongside experienced nursing staff in a magnet-designated institution recognized for nursing excellence.
What You'll Do
- Deliver compassionate psychiatric and behavioral health nursing care
- Assess and monitor patient mental health status
- Administer medications and document patient progress
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams
- Respond to acute psychiatric situations with clinical judgment and de-escalation skills
Requirements
- Current RN license (state-specific)
- Psychiatric nursing experience preferred
- Ability to work nights and adapt to a dynamic care environment
- Strong communication and patient advocacy skills
