Operating Room Surgical Services – 12-Hour Shifts
About the Role
Join the surgical services team at the facility, which operates 17 operating rooms 24/7. You'll work across multiple surgical specialties in a fast-paced, collaborative environment requiring strong clinical skills and adaptability.
Schedule & Expectations
- 12-hour shifts on a 36-hour day/evening rotation
- Day shift start: 7 AM | Evening starts: 9 AM or 11 AM
- Every third weekend as needed
- Every other holiday as scheduled
- On-call: Once per schedule
- May float to other OR areas as needed
- Contract duration: 13 weeks
- Start date: November 2, 2026
Surgical Specialties
General, gynecology, urology, oral, ENT, bariatrics, orthopedics, neurosurgery, vascular, thoracic, cardiac, plastic, podiatry, robotics, pediatrics, trauma, and spine surgery.
Requirements
- 2+ years of inpatient OR experience
- Competency in at least 5 surgical specialties listed above
- BLS certification (current)
- Scrub experience required
- Level 1 trauma experience preferred
Preferred Experience
- Neuro and vascular surgery background
- Experience beyond general, GYN, and GU cases
