Operating Room RN — Travel Contract

Day Shift | 3x12-Hour (06:30–19:00) | 13-Week Contract

This active OR department manages approximately 40 surgical cases daily across 16 rooms, serving adult and geriatric patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings. The unit covers all surgical service lines with a strong emphasis on orthopedics, neurosurgery, and robotic-assisted procedures.

Shift & Scheduling

• Days: 06:30–19:00
• Weekends: Every other; may increase to meet unit needs
• Call required: Post-shift and weekend (12-hour call)
• Must commit to working 3 of the 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO and scheduling requests must be submitted at time of application; post-offer requests may not be accommodated
• Float to sister facilities in the area may be required

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of OR RN experience
• Experience in at least 2 of 3 specialty areas: Orthopedics, Neurosurgery, Robotics
• First-time travelers: minimum 5 years OR experience required
• Active ACLS and BLS certifications
• CNOR preferred
• Compact RN license must be in hand at time of submission
