Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical Telemetry RN for a 13-week night contract. You'll work 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM), weekdays plus every other weekend, with the possibility of floating within your scope as needed.

Unit & Patient Population

You'll care for a diverse patient population including those with cardiac, vascular, surgical, and pulmonary conditions, all requiring telemetry monitoring. The unit manages a range of acuities and procedures within the medical-surgical scope.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years RN experience; 1 year in specialty experience required
• WV or Compact RN License (pending licenses accepted for submission)
• BLS/BCLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
• Flu vaccine required (medical exemptions accepted; required October 1 – March 31)
• Permanent address within 100 miles of the facility (75–99 miles considered case-by-case)
• Two manager or charge nurse references from the past 2 years

Schedule & Guarantees

• 36 hours guaranteed per week
• Orientation held every other Thursday
• Manager cannot guarantee blocked schedule requests
• No restrictions on RTO (Request Time Off)
