Telemetry Nurse – Travel Assignment
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week contract in Atlanta, GA. You'll work day shifts in a fast-paced monitoring environment, caring for patients requiring continuous cardiac surveillance and acute nursing interventions.
Shift & Schedule
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- 3 × 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
- Guaranteed hours
Requirements
- Minimum 18 months of telemetry nursing experience
- Georgia license or current compact license
- BLS certification
- NIHSS certification
- Proficiency with IV insertion and PICC line placement
What You'll Do
Monitor and assess patients with cardiac conditions, interpret telemetry strips, perform IV and PICC line placements, and provide direct patient care in a dynamic unit. You'll collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage acute patient needs and ensure safe outcomes.
What We're Looking For
A skilled, detail-oriented nurse comfortable with independent decision-making in a high-volume environment. Strong communication and time-management skills are essential.
