About the Role
Join a Level 3 NICU caring for high-acuity neonatal patients. You'll work alongside a skilled interprofessional team including Charge RN, Code Neonatal RN, Clerk, and Milk Tech to provide comprehensive care to our patient population.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct patient care in a specialty neonatal environment
- Collaborate with an experienced care team
- Float to other units within the Women's Hospital and outside facilities as a functional float (no patient assignment while floating)
- Flexible scheduling required; no block scheduling
Attire: Navy blue scrubs
Requirements
License & Certification:
- Current RN license (verification required via Nursys and License/Certificate Verification)
Immunizations & Health Requirements:
- MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap
- 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot)
- Fit test, health statement, and drug screen
Additional:
- Valid Driver's License/State ID
- Criminal background check clearance
- PALS certification recommended
Onboarding
You'll complete facility-specific competency assessments, system training, and skills validation upon arrival. Plan for 1–2 weeks for full onboarding.
