Emergency Department RN — Wichita, KS

This 16-week contract places you in a fast-paced Emergency Department managing a diverse patient population across varying acuity levels. You'll work alongside an experienced care team in an environment that demands strong clinical assessment skills and adaptability.

Shift Details

• 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Every other weekend required
• No call obligations
• 2 out of 3 holidays required
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Required Credentials & Licensure

• Active RN license (verified through Nursys)
• Valid license/certificate verification required at submission
• Skills checklist and 2 professional references required for submission
• Specialty exam and core competency assessments completed during onboarding
• EKG exam required at onboarding
• Color vision assessment required

Health & Compliance Requirements

• MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap, and Influenza vaccine documentation
• TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• 11-panel drug screen
• Fit test
• Criminal background check
• Valid driver's license or state ID

Ideal Candidate

• Prior ED experience strongly preferred
• Comfortable with high-acuity, high-volume emergency care
• Strong , assessment, and critical thinking skills
• Team-oriented with the ability to work independently on nights
