Shift: Nights, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Start Date: November 30, 2026
Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
About the Unit
This emergency department manages a diverse patient population across a full spectrum of acuity levels, with advanced trauma capabilities. The unit is supported by unit secretaries and paramedic staff, and no floating is required for this assignment.
Clinicians should be comfortable performing and assisting with high-acuity procedures including chest tube placement, central line insertion, and trauma interventions.
Schedule & Logistics
- Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend required
- No float requirement
- Dress code: Black scrubs
Required Certifications
- BLS
- ACLS
- PALS
- TNCC *(required)*
- ENPC
Qualifications
- Emergency nursing experience with advanced trauma skills
- Proficiency with trauma procedures (chest tubes, central lines, etc.)
- Strong bedside manner and patient experience focus
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
