MRI Technologist – Charleston, SC
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an MRI Technologist for a 13-week contract assignment in its diagnostic imaging department. You'll perform a wide range of MRI and MRA studies in a busy, clinically diverse environment.
Schedule & On-Call
- Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
- Weekends/Holidays: Every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff
- On-Call: Friday–Sunday, 8:00 PM–7:00 AM, approximately every 4–5 weekends
Clinical Scope
You'll perform MRI/MRA studies including brain, cervical/thoracic/lumbar spine, abdomen, MRCP, upper and lower extremity, cardiac, breast, orbit, liver and adrenal imaging, intracranial artery studies, brachial plexus, spectroscopy, neck MRA, and soft tissue imaging. The facility serves a diverse patient population with an active stroke program.
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year MRI experience
- ARRT MRI certification (required)
- BLS certification (required)
- Cardiac MRI and Breast MRI experience preferred but not required
Uniform
Gray scrubs required.
