Medical-Surgical RN | Nights | Wichita, KS

This is a 13-week travel contract in a Medical-Surgical unit in Wichita, KS, with a target start date of November 22, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• 4 x 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call obligations
• Guaranteed 48 hours per week

Unit Overview

You'll work on a Med-Surg unit managing a general acute care patient population across a range of medical and surgical diagnoses. Candidates should be comfortable working with diverse acuity levels and must be prepared to float to similar units, either on the same campus or at another campus within the Wichita area.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Nursys verification required)
• Current License/Certificate Verification
• EKG competency (assessed during onboarding)
• Completion of skills checklist and core competency testing prior to start
• Standard immunization documentation: MMR, Varicella, Tdap, Hepatitis B, Influenza, TB testing (2-step PPD or IGRA)
• Fit testing, health statement, and background check required for onboarding
• Two professional references required at submission
• Color vision assessment required upon onboarding
