Medical-Surgical Nurse – Night Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical nurse for a night shift role on a post-surgical unit. This is a 13-week contract with guaranteed 36 hours weekly.
Shift & Schedule
- Hours: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, 12-hour shifts, 3 days per week
- Floating: Required
- Start Date: November 23, 2026
Unit Details
You'll care for adult patients in the immediate post-surgical recovery phase, managing common diagnoses including abdominal pain, cholelithiasis, osteoarthritis, fractures, back pain, and bariatric surgery patients. The unit uses standard specialty equipment including IV pumps, nasogastric tubes, and feeding tubes.
Qualifications
- Current RN license (New York, active and verified)
- 2+ years of Medical-Surgical nursing experience
- Travel nursing experience required
- Current AHA BLS certification
- Valid driver's license with matching demographics
- Navy Blue scrubs required
