MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Radiology and Cardiology departments. You'll perform MRI imaging across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings, working with patients across multiple acuity levels and diagnoses.
Schedule & Duration
- Shift: Day shift, 3x12 hours (7:00 AM – 7:30 PM)
- Days: Friday, Saturday, Sunday
- Contract: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 30, 2026
- Guaranteed Hours: 48 per week
Requirements
- License: Active South Carolina MRI Technologist license required at time of submission
- Experience: Minimum 3 years as an MRI Tech
- Certifications: ARRT (MR) and current BLS
- Preferred: GE imaging systems experience
- Vaccines: COVID-19 and flu vaccine required (medical/religious exemptions available per facility policy)
- References: 2 supervisory references required
Scope
You'll perform diagnostic MRI imaging in a hospital-based environment serving adult acute-care patients. Floating within the facility and to nearby affiliate hospitals may be required.
Important Notes
- Minimize time-off requests during the first two weeks and avoid full calendar weeks off during your assignment
- Holiday coverage expected
- All time off must be pre-approved
- Must reside within 50 miles of the facility
