Medical-Surgical/Telemetry Nursing – Day Shift
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Medical-Surgical/Telemetry nurse for a 13-week contract on day shift.
Shift & Schedule
- 3x12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
- Every Saturday and Sunday, plus one random weekday per week
- Start date: December 4, 2026
Requirements
- 12 months of permanent Medical-Surgical/Telemetry experience required
- Current permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand at time of submission
- Active BLS and ACLS certifications (NIHSS preferred)
- One professional reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty (from past 12 months)
- COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions only)
- Pass background check and drug screen (10-panel + nicotine)
- BCI/FBI clearance completed within 48 hours of contract signing
What to Expect
You'll deliver care to Medical-Surgical and telemetry patients, monitoring cardiac rhythms and managing patient flow in a structured day-shift environment. Orientation will include competency assessments and required facility modules. If you extend beyond your initial contract, you may be eligible to remain with the facility for up to 18 months.
