MRI Technologist – Radiology/Cardiology
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to join the Radiology/Cardiology department on a 13-week contract. You'll work Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM (3x12-hour shifts), providing imaging support across emergency, inpatient, and outpatient settings.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of MRI experience
- Current ARRT (MR) and BLS certifications
- Active South Carolina license (required at time of submission)
- GE and PACS experience preferred
- Two supervisory references required
What to Expect
- Float assignments within the hospital and to affiliated facilities as needed
- Hospital-based practice across multiple departments
- Guaranteed 48 hours per week
- Pre-start online modules (approximately 2 hours)
- Holiday work expected
- Time off requests: Keep to a minimum, especially in the first two weeks. All requests must be approved and documented before your start date.
Additional Information
- South Carolina licensure; 50-mile radius applies
- Local candidates accepted
- Former permanent staff must wait 5 years before returning as travelers
- Copy of all certifications required
