NICU Travel Nurse — Cincinnati, OH

13-Week Contract | Night Shift | 3x12-Hour (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)

This high-acuity NICU position supports a complex neonatal population with surgical, gastrointestinal, respiratory, and neurological conditions. The unit also works in conjunction with a regional fetal care program, and carries a high volume of intubated and critically ill infants.

Patient Population includes:

Respiratory Distress Syndrome, Congenital Diaphragmatic Hernia, Hypoxic Ischemic Encephalopathy, Intraventricular Hemorrhage, Necrotizing Enterocolitis, Tracheal Esophageal Fistula, Myelomeningocele, Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome, Gastroschisis, Omphalocele, Bronchopulmonary Dysplasia, Neonatal Abstinence Syndrome, Pulmonary Hypertension, Hydrocephalus, Renal Failure, Seizure Disorders, and more.

Required Qualifications:

• Active Ohio or Compact RN license (required at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of Level IV NICU experience
• BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications
• Ventilator and trach management experience required
• Pediatric experience preferred
• No previous license hits

Schedule & Float:

• Night shift: 3x12 (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Float required to like assignments within the facility, including a secondary campus
• Orientation: 36 hours

Additional Details:

• Contract length: 13 weeks
• Flu vaccine required; no exemptions accepted
• Supervisor reference within the past 2 years required
• Requested time off must be noted at submission; cannot exceed 5 days total
• A background check and fingerprinting will be completed on the first day of employment
