Physical Therapist – Inpatient Rehab

Position Overview

The facility's inpatient rehabilitation department is seeking a Physical Therapist to provide care across inpatient floors. You'll work in a collaborative acute care environment, supporting patients from infancy through older adulthood with a wide range of clinical needs.

Schedule & Contract

• Shift: 8 hours, 5 days per week, 8:00 AM start time with weekend rotation
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks
• Hours: 40 per week; holidays as needed

Patient Population & Clinical Scope

You'll treat patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses. You'll collaborate closely with nursing, physicians, and case management to develop and execute rehabilitation plans.

Requirements

• Experience: Minimum 1+ years of physical therapy in an acute care setting (2+ years ideal)
• Licensure: Valid MA PT license
• Certification: CPR (AHA BLS Healthcare Provider)
• Key Skills: Excellent patient handling and transfer techniques, strong communication, ability to multitask, flexibility, self-directed approach, and comfort working as part of an interdisciplinary team
