Surgical Technologist – OR & OB
Position Overview
Join the operating room and obstetrics team as a Surgical Technologist. You'll support a variety of surgical procedures and vaginal deliveries in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 per week
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: November 29, 2026
Clinical Responsibilities
- Assist in OR and OB procedures
- Support vaginal deliveries
- Manage instrument sterilization and preparation
- Stock supplies and maintain unit organization
- Perform essential perioperative duties
Required Credentials & Certifications
- Current surgical technologist license or certification
- CPR/BLS certification
- Proof of professional references and employment history
- Criminal background check clearance
Health & Compliance Requirements
All candidates must meet the facility's onboarding health requirements, including:
- Drug screening
- Vaccinations (MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, Varicella, Tdap)
- TB screening (2-step PPD or IGRA)
- Fit test
- Health statement
Additional Notes
Medical Affairs Office clearance is required; credentialing may take additional time.
This is a contract position ideal for experienced surgical technologists seeking temporary work in a collaborative OR and delivery suite environment.
