ICU Registered Nurse — Wichita, KS

A travel ICU RN opportunity is available in Wichita, KS, with a 13-week contract beginning November 22, 2026.

Shift & Schedule

• Day shift: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call obligation
• Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Unit Overview

This intensive care unit manages critically ill patients across a range of high-acuity diagnoses. Candidates should be comfortable with complex hemodynamic monitoring, vasoactive drip management, ventilator care, and the full spectrum of ICU-level interventions.

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (Nursys-verified)
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications

Submission Requirements

• Completed skills checklist
• 2 professional references
• License/certificate verification

Onboarding Requirements

• Specialty exam, core competencies, and EKG exam
• Color vision assessment
• Point-of-care glucose testing competency
• Education attestation and employment verification

Health Requirements

• MMR, Hepatitis B, Varicella, Tdap
• Annual influenza vaccine
• 2-step PPD or IGRA (Quantiferon/T-Spot)
• Respirator fit test and health statement
• 11-panel drug screen
