Emergency Department Nurse – Night Shift

Position Overview

Join the Emergency Department for a 13-week contract providing care in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. You'll work night shifts supporting patients across the full spectrum of emergency conditions.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour shifts per week (7 PM – 7 AM)
• 36 guaranteed hours weekly
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Start date: November 16, 2026

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years Emergency Department experience
• Current Massachusetts nursing license (required at submission)
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications (must remain valid through contract start; cannot expire within 30 days of your first day)

Clinical Scope

You'll provide direct patient care in a collaborative ED setting, managing a diverse patient population and acuity levels typical of emergency medicine.

Important Policy

The facility maintains an attendance expectation: unscheduled call-outs (non-emergency) require makeup shifts to fulfill your weekly guaranteed hours. Patterns of call-outs or policy abuse may result in immediate contract termination.
