Telemetry RN — Night Shift | Simi Valley, CA | 13-Week Contract

This telemetry position offers night shift coverage (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) on a unit that manages patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring and close clinical oversight. The unit emphasizes coordinated, patient-centered care with a focus on assessment, intervention, and outcome evaluation.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• 36 or 48 hours per week (guaranteed 36 hours)
• Must be willing to work at least one major holiday

Clinical Scope

• Continuous cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation
• Stroke patient management (NIH Stroke Scale required)
• Care coordination across multidisciplinary teams
• Discharge planning and patient/family education
• Delegation and supervision of nursing staff

Required Certifications & Licensure

• Active RN license (state of practice)
• BLS (from an approved vendor)
• ACLS
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)

Experience Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
• BSN preferred
