Surgical Technologist – Vail, CO
Position Overview
The facility is seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a 13-week contract in a busy acute care operating room environment. You'll work rotating 12-hour shifts (3 days per week) with a guaranteed minimum of 32 hours weekly.
Required Qualifications
- Current Colorado state license as a Surgical Technologist (DORA)
- 2+ years experience in inpatient/acute care surgery
- BLS certification
- Strong orthopedic surgery background
- Proficiency with robotic-assisted surgery (DaVinci XI)
Clinical Experience Required
You must have solid experience across multiple surgical specialties:
- Total joint replacements (hips, knees, shoulders) — this is essential
- General surgery (colon resection, hernia repair, appendectomy)
- GYN procedures
- Spine surgery
- Trauma cases
CST certification is preferred but not required.
Role Details
- 89-week contract opportunity (start date November 30, 2026)
- Rotating 12-hour shifts
- 70-mile radius applies to assignment location
- All schedule requests and time-off requests must be submitted at time of application
