Position Overview
The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for a Progressive Care Unit. This is a 13-week contract position providing direct patient care in a dynamic clinical environment.
Shift & Schedule
- Days: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week
- Start date: November 23, 2026
Clinical Scope
You'll deliver high-quality care to progressive care patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to manage intermediate-acuity cases. Responsibilities include:
- Direct patient assessment, monitoring, and nursing interventions
- Medication administration and patient education
- Accurate documentation and care coordination
- Adherence to safety and infection control protocols
- Positive, compassionate engagement with patients and families
Requirements
- Valid RN license (NC)
- Current CPR certification
- PCU experience preferred
