Nurse Manager, Emergency & Trauma
Position Overview
Lead clinical operations and nursing staff in a busy Emergency Department. You'll partner with the Director of Patient Care Services to oversee daily ED operations, supervise patient care delivery, and maintain a high-performing team. This role requires both strong leadership and the ability to take bedside shifts as needed.
Shift & Schedule
- Monday–Friday day shift with rotating weekend coverage
- 3 × 12-hour shifts
- 13-week contract
- Start date: November 16, 2026
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise nursing staff and coordinate patient care delivery
- Support ED operations and clinical quality
- Collaborate with leadership on department management
- Provide bedside care as operational needs require
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing school; Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Leadership experience within the last 2 years
- Emergency Department training and experience
- Current Colorado RN license (or compact state RN license)
- Colorado adult protective services (CAPS) check required
