Cardiac, Thoracic & Vascular OR – Surgical Technologist

The Opportunity

The facility's CVOR service line performs a full spectrum of cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures. You'll support routine and complex cases including coronary artery bypass, valve repair/replacement, aortic dissection, heart transplantation, ventricular assist device placement, TAVR, adult ECMO, laparoscopic and robotic thoracic procedures, and endovascular interventions including ESRD graft/fistula placement and revision.

The service operates 4–6 ORs with an endovascular suite, capable of running four concurrent cardiopulmonary bypass cases.

Schedule & Staffing

• Hours: 6:45 AM–7:15 PM, Saturday/Sunday/Monday
• Contract duration: 13 weeks
• Call: Not required; optional only if you choose to participate
• Guaranteed hours: 36 per week

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years recent full-time CVOR CST experience in a high-volume setting
• Demonstrated proficiency across cardiac, thoracic, and vascular procedures
• Ability to function independently in a fast-paced environment—candidates must be able to hit the ground running with minimal onboarding
• Verifiable references from at least two prior travel assignments confirming no training was needed
• Current license/certificate verification required for submission
