Respiratory Therapist – Night Shift

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) for a night shift assignment in Akron, Ohio. This is a 12-week contract running 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:30.

Requirements

• Current, active NBRC certification and BLS certification (required in hand at time of application)
• Valid Ohio respiratory therapy license (required in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an RRT
• Willingness to float to other facility locations as needed
• Weekend availability as scheduled
• Nicotine-free (smoke-free facility — no exceptions)
• Negative 10-panel drug screen plus nicotine (cotinine) test required within 12 months of start date; annual renewal required
• BCI/FBI background clearance must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing

• Submit complete work history, including all prior assignments
• Provide copies of all required certifications with your application
• Include two professional references (manager, ANM, supervisor, or director) from assignments within the past 12 months — no co-worker references
• Communicate all time-off requests and scheduling needs during initial submission and interview
• COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions available upon request)

Contract Terms

• 12-week assignment
• Extension available for up to 18 months; a 6-month break follows thereafter
