Occupational Therapist – Acute Rehab
Contract Details
- Duration: 13 weeks
- Start Date: October 26, 2026
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM (5 × 8-hour shifts); includes weekends
- Location: Decatur, GA
Position Overview
The facility seeks an experienced Occupational Therapist for its acute rehabilitation unit. You'll work with patients across a diverse range of diagnoses including stroke, critical care, oncology, total joint replacement, spine procedures, and chronic conditions such as COPD and CHF. The unit also manages post-surgical abdominal cases and addresses functional mobility and activities of daily living.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver OT assessments and treatment plans for acute and rehabilitation patients
- Float to outpatient services as needed
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary care team
Requirements
- Valid Georgia OT license
- BLS certification
- Minimum 18 months of acute care or rehabilitation experience
- Credentialing completion by the Wednesday prior to your start date
