Position Overview
The facility's Labor & Delivery unit is seeking an experienced RN for a 13-week travel assignment. You'll work day shift (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM) on a dynamic team providing comprehensive care across labor, delivery, recovery, , and antepartum settings.
About the Unit
This busy L&D service manages full-scope obstetric care with a strong focus on family-centered delivery. You'll support vaginal deliveries, C-sections, assessments, and first-hour newborn care. The unit emphasizes skin-to-skin contact, breastfeeding support, and comfort measures including hydrotherapy and aromatherapy. A 24/7 team of hospitalists, midwives, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers collaborate on every shift.
What You'll Bring
- Current L&D experience (within the past 2 years)
- Intermediate Fetal Heart Monitoring certification
- Current NRP and BLS
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a collaborative team
- Experience at higher-volume facilities (3,000+ births annually) is preferred
