Med/Surg Telemetry RN – 13-Week Contract

Position Overview

The facility is seeking a Registered Nurse for its Medical/Surgical Telemetry unit. You'll provide direct patient care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment while monitoring patients on cardiac telemetry and managing a diverse patient population with varying acuity levels.

Shift & Schedule

• 3 x 12-hour rotating shifts
• Night: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Day: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Shifts may vary based on operational needs; the facility will honor your preferred schedule when possible
• You must be available to work at least every other holiday

Float Responsibilities

You may float to other units to care for similar patient populations as staffing needs require.

Required Qualifications

• 12 months of permanent experience in Med/Surg Telemetry
• Current, permanent Ohio license or compact state license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Active AHA or American Red Cross BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• One professional reference from a manager, charge nurse, or supervisor required

Orientation & Assessments

During orientation, you'll complete ECG rhythm recognition and safeMedicate assessments. Acceptable scores on both are required to continue; you'll have up to two attempts to pass.

Vaccines

COVID-19 and flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions available).
