Emergency Department – Telemetry Assignment

Position Overview

The facility's Emergency Department is seeking an experienced Telemetry nurse for a 16-week contract. You'll manage ED patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, with the primary assignment at the Decatur location.

Schedule & Location

• Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, three 12-hour shifts per week (36 hours/week)
• Primary Location: Decatur
• Float Assignment: Within a 15-mile radius to a secondary facility as needed, based on patient census. You'll know your work location before each shift.
• Contract Duration: 16 weeks with guaranteed hours

Key Requirements

• Current RN license (Georgia)
• BLS certification required
• Telemetry experience in fast-paced ED environments
• Ability to float within your specialty as needed
• All time-off requests must be submitted upfront

What to Expect

You'll deliver direct patient care in a busy ED setting, monitoring cardiac rhythms, responding to patient needs, and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team. Flexibility and strong communication skills are essential, as assignment locations may vary shift-to-shift based on patient acuity and staffing needs.

Note: This position requires candidates to relocate; local applicants within a 50-mile radius are not being considered.
