Labor and Delivery Nurse
Position Overview
The facility's Labor and Delivery unit is seeking experienced RNs for 12-hour night shifts (7 PM–7 AM). This is a non-teaching environment focused on low-to-moderate-risk obstetrics with an average of 100 deliveries per month, primarily weekday cases.
Unit Details
Requirements
- BLS (AHA) and NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) certification
- Valid driver's license (unexpired copy required at submission)
- Experience in obstetrics preferred
- Familiarity with fetal monitoring and different labor positions valued
Schedule & Commitment
- 12-hour nights: 7 PM–7 AM
- Every other weekend off (minimum every third weekend required)
- No mandatory call requirement
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 13-week contract
Onboarding
Two-shift orientation with a preceptor. Standard orientation policies apply.
