Position Overview
Join the Cardiac Catheterization Lab for a 13-week contract assignment. This is a day shift role (7:00 AM–5:30 PM) within a high-volume interventional cardiology program.
The Role
You'll work as part of a three-person procedural team in a 3-room cath lab, assisting with diagnostic and interventional cases. Your responsibilities include patient preparation, procedural support, monitoring, and post-procedure care.
Typical Procedures
- Left and right heart catheterizations
- Pacemaker and ICD placements
- Watchman procedures
- IR-guided interventions
- Vascular electrophysiology ablations (PFA)
Requirements
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience in a cardiac catheterization lab preferred
- Electrophysiology background is a plus
- Ability to float to pre- and post-cath recovery areas as needed
- Strong team orientation and flexibility
Schedule & Expectations
- 36 guaranteed hours per week
- 4 × 10-hour shifts
- One full weekend plus two weekdays per four-week cycle
- On-call coverage may be required
