Computed Tomography Technologist
Location: Paducah, KY
Shift: Monday–Friday, 8-hour days (7:00 AM–3:30 PM)
Contract Duration: 9 weeks
Start Date: December 3, 2026
About the Role
The facility is seeking a CT Technologist to perform computed tomography imaging exams under physician orders. You'll work independently with limited supervision, ensuring accurate patient positioning, high image quality, and safe radiation practices throughout each exam.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform CT imaging exams, managing patient preparation, positioning, and monitoring
- Prepare and administer contrast media per protocol, screening for contraindications and monitoring for adverse reactions
- Operate and troubleshoot CT equipment; perform quality control and preventive maintenance
- Review patient histories and verify orders; maintain accurate records in imaging systems
- Apply radiation safety and ALARA principles
- Collaborate with radiologists and clinical staff to ensure diagnostic quality
- Order and restock supplies and linens for assigned areas
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program
- ARRT certification in Radiography (R)
- Active Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) license
- BLS certification
- CT certification (ARRT-CT) required within one year of employment
Preferred
- ARRT CT registry at hire
- 1+ years of CT experience
- IV certification or venipuncture skills
