Clinical Decision Unit / Med-Surg Telemetry RN — Travel Assignment

Elkins, WV | 13-Week Contract | Night Shift

This travel opportunity is located in Elkins, WV, on a Clinical Decision Unit / Med-Surg Telemetry floor managing a diverse patient population including cardiac, CHF, COPD, stroke/CVA, chest pain, and postoperative patients (orthopedic, appendectomy, cholecystectomy) across all age groups from pediatrics to geriatrics.

Shift & Schedule

• Nights: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM, three 12-hour shifts per week
• Every other weekend required
• Float to other units may be required

Clinical Skills Required

• Cardiac telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation/management
• Stroke/CVA care, IV starts, blood product administration
• Oxygen therapy, wound care, IV insulin protocols
• Rapid Response and Code team participation
• Isolation precautions/PPE

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of RN experience
• WV or Compact RN license (pending license accepted at submission)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS (AHA-issued preferred)
• 75-mile radius restriction applies; candidates 75–100 miles considered case by case
