Physical Therapist Assistant

Physical Therapist — Outpatient Clinic | Oak Hill, WV

13-Week Contract | 4x10-Hour Days | 07:30–18:00

This outpatient clinic setting offers a collaborative, well-supported environment for a licensed Physical Therapist. You'll work alongside experienced PTAs, Speech Therapists, and Occupational Therapists to deliver comprehensive rehabilitative care to a primarily adult and geriatric population, with occasional pediatric and adolescent cases.

Clinical Scope

• Patient diagnoses include joint replacements, CVA, fractures, neurological conditions, vestibular dysfunction, deconditioning, and pain management
• Dedicated time allocations: 1 hour for evaluations, 45 minutes for treatment sessions
• Daily caseload of approximately 8–12 patients (mix of evaluations and treatment visits)

Schedule

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (07:30–18:00)
• Schedule flexibility available — five 8-hour shifts can be accommodated if preferred
• One Saturday per month covering the inpatient/acute rehab unit; a weekday off is provided that same week
• No on-call required; no floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of PT experience
• Active West Virginia PT licensure required prior to start (pending license accepted for submission)
• BLS certification (American Heart Association)
• Flu vaccination required during flu season (October 1–March 31); medical exemptions accepted with documented allergist or physician record
• COVID-19 vaccination not required
• Two manager or charge references from the past two years required

Dress Code

• Any scrub color except blue, forest green, or maroon
