Radiation Therapist | Outpatient/Acute Care | Eureka, CA

Day Shift | 26-Week Contract

This travel Radiation Therapist opportunity is based within an acute care setting serving adult and geriatric oncology patients. The department sees approximately 35 patient visits per day across a broad range of diagnoses and treatment modalities.

Shift & Schedule

• Days, 5×8-hour shifts (08:00–16:30)
• Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• All RTO requests must be submitted at the time of offer; post-offer requests may not be granted
• Float between sister facilities in the area may be required; refusal to float may impact guaranteed hours

Clinical Scope

• Stereotactic Radiosurgery (SRS), SBRT, and IMRT
• Respiratory gating, craniospinal treatments, simulation of treatment sites
• Patient diagnoses include breast, prostate, lung, head and neck, and other variable cancers
• Adult acute care and outpatient patient populations

Required Certifications & Credentials

• ARRT (T) — Radiation Therapy
• BLS
• Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission

Minimum Experience

• 1 year of Radiation Therapy experience required
• First-time travelers accepted

• Scrub color: Black
• Free parking provided; assignment parking assigned during orientation
• Orientation: 40 hours
• Local candidates (within 50 miles) accepted
• Guaranteed hours subject to one call-off per two-week pay period
• Two professional references required, covering at least 1 year within the last 3 years
