Pharmacist

Pharmacy Technician | Independence, MO | 26-Week Contract

This pharmacy technician role is based in a decentralized pharmacy model, offering a collaborative environment with consistent technician support across all shifts. No call requirements and no floating make this a straightforward, focused assignment.

Shift & Schedule

• Days/evenings, varying shifts — 07:30–16:00 primary shift
• Every other weekend required
• No overnight shifts
• 40 hours per week, guaranteed

Key Responsibilities

• Refill automated dispensing cabinets and fill first doses
• IV sterile and non-sterile compounding
• Unit-dose medication packaging
• Maintain and restock code blue trays
• Support pharmacists and handle incoming pharmacy calls

Requirements

• Active Missouri Pharmacy Technician license in good standing — required prior to submission
• Retail pharmacy experience considered
• IV compounding experience preferred

Dress Code: Clean scrubs

• No on-call, no float
