Medical-Surgical RN | Day Shift | Waycross, GA

This 13-week travel contract places you on a general Medical-Surgical unit working day shifts (07:00–19:00), with a start date of November 17, 2026.

Unit Overview

The Med-Surg unit provides care for general medical-surgical patients across a range of diagnoses and acuity levels. The unit is supported by a Unit Secretary on day shift and patient care technicians. Nurses participate in bedside shift report and safety rounding as part of the patient experience standard.

Schedule & Flexibility

• 36 guaranteed hours per week
• Two weekends per month required
• Holiday rotation shared with staff employees
• Float responsibilities may include other Med-Surg units, ED coverage for Med-Surg holds, or ICU/PCU to manage Med-Surg level patients

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of Med-Surg experience
• BLS certification required
• Navy blue scrubs
